Be not wise in your own conceits
Rom 12:16
Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but
condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own
conceits.

The fleshy wisdom ….
Jer 9:23 Thus saith the
LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his
wisdom,
neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man
glory in his riches:
2Co 1:12 For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in
simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of
God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to
you-ward.
1Co 8:1
Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have
knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.
1Co 8:2 And if any man think that he knoweth any
thing,
he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.
Example of fleshy wisdom
…. “the temple is a physical building”
2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth
himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing
himself that he is God.
Wisdom from above …. “the temple is a group of people”
2Co 6:16
And what agreement hath the
temple of God with idols? for
ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I
will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they
shall be my people.
1Co 3:18
Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
1Co 3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
Did you know that there are 2 different “Wisdoms”?
1Co 2:6
Howbeit we speak wisdom among
them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of
this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
1Co 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden
wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
Jas
3:15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual,
devilish.
Jas 3:16
For where envying and
strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
Jas 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without
partiality, and without hypocrisy.

11:25 For I
would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
